Scott and Rushing

Key to our chances. These are must gets. Fail to get these two or a comp 5 star and our chances are very low for a title in the Carr era. We might be good, but no title. Keeley and JMoore would have been even more important than Rushing and Scott imo. Sad they couldn’t get them but these two combined are probably a comp. We are so close but so far away. Carr could be that elite arm. But we need more than a Bryce Young. We need that elite DE and interior DL. Maybe Mylachi would be good enough? It must come to pass. Freeman knows it. I remain steadfast that we have all the pieces. We have great coaches. Great players. Great recruiting. We have one problem. That problem is Al Washington. Jack knows it. Many in ND nation have no clue.

Does it really matter what 3 and 4 star recruits are saying?

He lost Keeley and failed to get JMoore. He has not landed Scott or Rushing. Scott should’ve committed months ago.

He hasn’t developed anyone. Our DL regressed.

Stuckey has a 5 star receiver committed and landed the best WR class in memory. Rees landed a 5 star QB and the new staff has kept him committed. Deland landed Love and has made our running backs arguably the best group in the country. Freeman landed a 5 star LB last year and has recruited several very high 4 star kids. Mickens is one of the best position coaches in America with a true freshman All American. Our special teams is lights out. We have the best offensive lineman in America and landed a 5 star guy for 2023 in Jagusah. We had the nations best TE last year.


There are two positions that absolutely stink compared to the rest of the team in recruiting and development. Safety and DL. There is no excuse in the world that will fix that. ND needs better and could do better.

Maybe he will get one of Scott and Rushing? To many, that’s the least he needs to do.
