Best part of the season is just beginning. The most important poll comes right after the Championships. Watch and see who is playing in what Bowl, where and when.

What are the odds the Florida's offense scores a point on Bama? That game could be unwatchable. Clemson v UNC could be pure entertainment. UNC put up 35 by halftime again this past weekend on a decent NC State team.

Yeah..........UNC could end up being the ultimate dark horse.........from 14th the week before to 8th this week and then what if they knock off #1 Clemson! Wow..........imagine the chit-chat amongst the committee members in that scenario!

If that does happen there is a chance both Clemson and UNC could both end up in the playoffs. Imagine.........ACC teams in 50% of the playoffs!

Hey, ACC is getting a little better every year.............kept ND out of the playoffs this year.

Luckily ND avoids FSU, Clemson and UNC in 2016 playing only teams in the lower half of their ACC Schedule. UNC will be in 2017.

It wasn't plotted out that way, with Miami and VA Tech on the schedule. Nobody planned for them to be as low as they are on the ACC totem pole right now.

Good point. Who knew they would both be "coachless". With the right coaches they both could become forces to reckon with.

Clemson didn't keep ND out of the playoffs because the outcome of the Stanford game would have accomplished that anyway. And posting on the Irish board that they are "lucky" to avoid the better ACC teams in 2016 reveals--once again--an underlying purpose to provoke anti-ACC rants on this board.

Gosh ... now who would have a motive to do that?

Seriously.

Go chew rocks.

Any given year there is only 2 or 3 good schools in the ACC.

That's been true in the past. Let's see what happens when new coaches are in place. The talent is there, just needs coaching.

I swear all you do is come here to make any thread and try your hardest to find an angle that allows you to add FSU to it.

My hope is MSU, Stanford,Alabama and UNC lost on Dec 5.Then good Bowl game for ND.OSU to Rose Bowl.

Duo and his likes just don't like life.

Some interesting games, here are my predictions! (Worth nothing, LOL!)

Houston over Temple

Bama big over Florida

UNC over Clmson

Michigan State over Iowa

Stanford over USC

Irishblooded..........

Don't get your undies in a wad and be so sensitive. Let me rephrase my statement:

Sincé ND plays an ACC schedule on a rotational basis that is determined purely by the luck of the draw their 2016 ACC schedule is against teams in the lower half of the conference.*

* Note: Keep in mind both VT and Miami will have new coaches so anything could happen as they both possess talent.

All that said, then ND should have a clean sweep of the ACC portion of it's schedule and move right on to the playoffs to play for the National Championship.

There..............."Don't worry.......be happy".

Ahem...............UNC over Clemson..............Wow! That would shake things up!

They both made pretty good hires this week. Miami hired Mark Richt, and VTech hired Fuente from Memphis.
