The thread on Kelly's commitment to the run got me thinking ... I think it's highly unlikely that Sanford calls a single play this season. In fact somewhere I recall that Kelly has already said that he - Kelly - will be calling the plays. So what is left for Sanford, who has the title of OC, to do?
I know he'll be on the practice field, working with guys and in team meetings, providing input and all. But what kind of an OC doesn't call plays? If you're one of the hottest up and coming offensive names in the country, why do you take this job? I've never quite understood it.
