there seems to be much love expressed for him on this board, however what blame does he share for the QB decision at the beginning of the season and the game
Plan for the NC game?

Either he is just as guilty as Kelly or it was alll Kelly. If it is all on Kelly then what do we really know about him and his decision making?

Agree with the point of your question. Very little known about Sanford's role. He recruits exceptionally well and is liked. Many were singing his praises for the offensive output, but frankly I haven't seen any difference in play calling since he arrived. He does deserve credit for Kizer's development. Kelly has been spending most of his time on defense since the BVG firing, and Sanford and Depenbrock are supposedly in charge of the offense game planning and play calling. Not a fan of hiring Sanford as head coach and prefer he leave and get HC experience elsewhere.

You take a job on the Kelly staff and you know to say the P.C. thing.
The only coach on the current staff that would be damage control if you wanted to relieve Kelly is Sanford.
He is respected by players,prospects and the families, fans and....
He will serve as interim until he has demonstrated himself to be a HC or till you hire the next big name Head Coach.

Otherwise Kelly will coach '16&'17.

He is the OC but Denbrock called plays yesterday with bk influence I am sure. Hes the OC let him call the plays for cripes sake. If I were him I would bail out of this circus ASAP. Its like hiring a chef but telling him he doesn't need to cook. bk the "offensive guru" is a complete joke. How many times do you need to throw in a fricking hurricane with 50mph winds and a downpour to figure out that its probably a bad idea. mr genius wanted to play two QB 's a month ago, but now he has a golden opportunity to play your running qb and the idiot doesn't even think about it.
