Rivals is updating its ratings and rankings for the 2026 class this week. First up is the Five-Star Countdown from @Adam Gorney.

Notre Dame previously offered 11 of the 14 current five-star prospects in the 2026 class:
1. OT Jackson Cantwell
2. QB Ryder Lyons
4. QB Jared Curtis
6. DE Anthony Jones
8. ATH Brandon Arrington
9. S Blaine Bradford
10. CB Elbert Hill
11. OLB Tyler Atkinson
12. WR Chris Henry Jr. (Ohio State commit)
13. QB Brady Smigiel (Florida State)
14. TE Kendre' Harrison (Oregon)
Three of the five-star recruits have visited Notre Dame already:
9. Bradford (2x)
10. Hill (2x)
13. Smigiel
Obviously, Notre Dame has Noah Grubbs committed in the class, so the other QBs don't matter. I don't think Notre Dame's in great shape with Bradford anymore. Hill will be tough to pull from Ohio State, but he's been open to ND. Arrington was compared to Sauce Gardner in Gorney's story. Maybe Notre Dame can use that to its favor.
