"With the 2025 battle for succession down to CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey, Irish coach Marcus Freeman has options. Those include working both quarterbacks into the mix."

Seems to me that with two proven/premier running backs, that using a two back set would be a good option for the unpredictability of who is going to get the ball.

Look for ND to use multiple sets -- including 1 and 2 back sets, as well as multiple TE's at the same time. Look for both Price and Love to be flanked out -- as well as Williams, to give them more opportunities at touches in space.

I far prefer the one back set. And let those two share the football. And run play action off the threat of the run. "You don't treat thoroughbreds like pack mules."

full house backfield inside the 10, lets line a TE or O-lineman in fullback! I want to see all kinds of sets. Let’s bring back the T formation, single wing, The Maryland T.

Doc Blanchard and Glen Davis, Billy Sims, Mike Rozier, Charles White, Paul Hornung, and many other Heisman winners and All-Americans would beg to differ
