Notre Dame coaches have continued to make the rounds the past few days. They have been in some familiar places, and some not so familiar places.

Here's what we know from the road the past two days…

Irish See DJ Morgan, Others
Notre Dame was one of 50 schools at Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco High on Thursday for the Braves' annual spring practice and barbecue coaches event, and it was associate head coach Mike Denbrock on the sidelines.

Bosco is loaded with FBS talent practically every year, but there are just a handful of prospects that Notre Dame is seriously interested in at the time. One of the is four-star safety DJ Morgan, who is the cousin of former Irish basketball star Skylar Diggins. Morgan visited South Bend back in April and was told by the staff that they want to see more of him in coverage.

"I didn't get a chance to talk to him, but he watched one-on-one drills and he saw no passes caught on me plus my interception," Morgan said when asked how it went. "Hopefully it impressed him and some of the other coaches there."

Morgan has a set top five of Arizona State, California, Colorado State, Nebraska and Northwestern, and is expected to announce a college decision on May 20. If Notre Dame doesn't offer in the next few days, it might not ever happen, and as of right now, it's not looking likely. Denbrock also scouted tackle Wyatt Davis, cornerback Kristian Gilbert and cornerback Keith Taylor while at Bosco. All three players are in the initial Rivals100 for the class of 2017.

Sanford Sees Another QB Spin It
Irish offensive coordinator Mike Sanford was in Austin on Thursday making the rounds, but on Wednesday, he was in Waco, and that's where he saw another quarterback prospect workout. Sanford watched Midlands High quarterback Sam Glaseman throw, and extended an invitation to a camp in June.

Glaseman has flown-under-the-radar to date -- and we're not exactly sure right now if this was just a case of Sanford passing through a school that he recruits -- but the quarterback's stock is beginning to take off with offers in the past 48 hours from Utah State and Rice.

The 6-3, 195-pound Glaussman played last season behind SMU signee and Elite 11 finalist Ben Hicks, which according to him, is why the interest has been mild. He has limited tape, but coaches have been impressed with him in practice.

Sanford also dropped by Waco High on to check up on three-star cornerback target Eric Cuffee. That marked the second time this spring an Irish assistant saw Cuffee, who has been invited to the Irish Invasion.

Lyght Returns To Vegas
Notre Dame cornerbacks coach Todd Lyght doesn't have many years of coaching experience under his belt, but one of his previous stops was at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman. Lyght returned to the area on Wednesday and made the rounds at a number of different schools.

We're able to confirm that he was at Centennial High to check up on 2017 four-star defensive tackle Greg Rogers and then at Deset Pines to see three-star offensive guard Samuelu Poutasi. Lyght was also believed to make a stop at Bishop Gorman, which is the home to 2017 Rivals100 quarterback Tate Martell, before he made his way to Kentucky.

Kentucky Commit To Visit
Once in Kentucky, Lyght was able to secure a visit from Lexington Henry Clay three-star cornerback Davonte Robinson, who is committed to the in-state Wildcats. Robinson said on Thursday, that he plans to be in South Bend for the Irish Invasion on June 19 and could also make a visit before that. The 6-1, 170-pound cornerback won the states in the 100m dash last spring.

Gilmore In Minnesota
Irish defensive line coach Keith Gilmore made it to the Twin Cities on Wednesday. According to Minneapolis North three-star athlete Tyler Johnson, Gilmore was at his school to pick up transcripts. The 6-2, 179-pound athlete holds offers from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa and said he was invited to camp in South Bend this summer.

BVG In Georgia ... Again
Brian VanGorder
was at Oakwood West Hall High on Thursday. The two names to know there are three-star athlete Tyquan Statham and three-star athlete Kwon Williams. VanGorder also made his way to Archer High, which is the home to 2017 cornerback target Isaiah Pryor, who was offered by the Irish after the Blue-Gold Game last month.
