The final visit of my two-week recruiting road trip through Georgia was in Hampton (Ga.) Dutchtown to visit with four-star defensive back Trey Dean.
Here a a few quick notes from the visit.
***Dean remains very interested in Notre Dame, and is hoping to visit this summer. He mentioned to me that he wants to visit as many schools as he can before making a decision.
***Dean said the coach he's talked to the most from Notre Dame is actually head coach Brian Kelly. He said he's been hearing from the coaching staff everyday since he was offered.
***Right now, Dean said the schools recruiting him the hardest include Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, UCLA and Oregon.
***The biggest thing attracting Dean to South Bend is definitely academics. I could tell from our interview that academics genuinely mean a great deal to him.
