Did I hear correctly he went 91 yards? If so, was that the longest run from scrimmage in ND history?
Honestly with what he accomplished last year, and what he has accomplished so far as first year running back; Procise maybe the best overall offensive ND talent since Tim Brown. I would still love to see him sent in to motion out of the backfield occasionally. To create one on one matchups with safeties or linebackers on the outside. Since I rarely saw nickel backs who could cover in the slot last year . He maybe the most versatile talent in the country next to Jaylon ofcourse.
Hahahahah...yes, they must be saving it for the USC game to make up for the Bush Push. I can just hear it now - the Notre Dame offensive line pushes Prosise 53 yards into the endzone for a touchdown! He always gets five extra yards because of his OUTSTANDING RUNNING HIGH STYLE !! CJ refuses to go down and the MONSTER OLINE likes to push him for five extra yards. They would push him all the way to the endzone if they wanted but they are saving it for later !!
Keep running high CJ !! Catch the wind !!
Go Irish !!
Destroy UMASS !!!

He is a selfless player. He has done whatever has been asked of him. I just hope they can reduce his carries so he still has some pop in those legs late in the season.
He is also very strong in the lower body. I wish he had another year of eligibility. He has amazed me with his ability to get 4-5 extra yards, when he should have been tackled. The speed on that run..... whoa boy! He has some wheels!

trevor matich of espn called him a dark horse Heisman candidate before the season.I find him deceptively fast as well.
He outran the GT Secondary. The lad is Secretariat and American Pharaoh rolled up in one. I was in stunned silence how fast he was on that play. It was truly amazing. He kicked it into high gear and he was gone.

Maybe he will want to come back - I really hope he stays healthy over this 12 game schedule with the upright style. He has been fantastic this year.CJ does have another year of eligibility if he wants a 5th year because he did not play at all his freshman season.
That said the chances of him skipping the NFL draft is zero with the year he is having. How could Brian Kelly even honestly ask him back.
Yes, Prosise gets those extra yards. But, how long can he keep it up. November will come and ND needs him as fresh as he is in September. I would like to see him on toss sweeps once and awhile. I also want to see other guys get carries. Defenses will start keying on Prosise if they no longer fear the read option or don't see someone else doing some damage.
Talk about taking advantage of an opportunity. Somehow quietly ND has 2 potential heisman players.
Well if the qb isn't doing the read option then it's pretty tough to disguise who is getting the ball with only one back in the formation, no?Yes, Prosise gets those extra yards. No. Keep this momentum going. Can't play not to get hurt. He has a nice thing going and keep it rolling. If he keeps running this way the only person that keeps him from the heisman potentially is #7 at LSU. That is no guarantee because nobody knows how things will unfold as the year goes with either of those two backs but at this point keep rolling.if the rooks are ready and thought capable, perhaps giving CjP the week off might not be a bad idea.
The problem is then the two guys in the backfield are both 'rooks' for most part.
That’s awesome that he is elgible for a 5th. I think he will be back. He is playing great but if he wants to play on Sunday's he needs more time as a RB. Do you think he will buy what I am selling?CJ does have another year of eligibility if he wants a 5th year because he did not play at all his freshman season.

On an off note, it looks like Will Fuller will be back next year. Watched an interview and he said he wanted to come back and play with MZ next year. That’s awesome that he is elgible for a 5th.
