I know Daelin Hayes is showing a lot of promise as a rusher, and that putting pressure on the Freshman QB/getting into the backfield is incredibly valuable.
However, if they can exploit a potential weakness of our defense at the Buck LB position, and easily dump passes off the Etienne, does the rush really matter as much?
Any chance ND drops Daelin back to Buck LB to help cover Etienne, and bring up Foskey (who has been incredible with limited/unblocked reps)?
I know this is a bit crazy, but sort of the things you need to do to beat teams like Clemson.
