I am. He has had the chance to develop in the program and system. He has tools. He will continue to develop this offseason and with more reps in the spring and summer. He was a winner in HS. In every chance has had on the ND field, he has looked the part. He won the BG game two years ago on a scramble and dive for a TD. If ND has a chance for a Hartman level QB, ND should get him, but I don’t think he’s out there. And I don’t think you should risk losing Angeli and making Minchy, Carr, and others question the QB development process at ND for equal or lesser talent. I don’t know enough about Cam Rising or others, but I would ride with Angeli.
