Any thoughts on Smith at center and Schmidt running wildcat...?
I just think it gives us a lot more flexibility to run more center pulling/trapping with someone so strong and athletic unlike our current options.
I'm against Schmidt at wildcat qb, he's got enough against him in the stereotype dept, last thing we need is a white small wildcat qb to terrorize everyone.
Surprised nobody has talked about fuller to DE. Hey, we need speed on the edge amiright?
Better yet. We can shift and put all the OL at Wr and in the backfield and put the skill guys on the line. That would be a total fake out.
Well,,,,BVG moving Jaylon to center wouldn't surprise me since he insisted on the inside linebacker experiment.
Did he insist on the move inside or did the fact that ND lost their top 2 MLB's last year and Morgan had problems picking up the D force the hand there?
On Schmidt we'll have to agree to disagree. His ability to recognize defensive formations will more than make up for his lack of speed.
Also, I would put Fuller at nose as that would force a double team there and free up the edges. That's where I would put Hunter and either Holmes or St. Brown.
This whole Bryant thing really f'd us up.
Can you imagine him coming off the edge?

If anyone is to change position, it should be Robinson to center. Hell, his father had a hall of fame career at that position so he should at least be competent. What? Different sport? Oh, crap!
See and understand the Kizer part, not the Zaire portion. Kizer is the better skilled player, but Kelly lacks the creativity to make it happen.
