PJ Fleck

Yeah...it is all the refs fault.
Yes considering the margin of victory. Either way he only lost by a point to a top 5 team. I watched the whole game. It was tight the whole way. The announcers in the booth and the designated ref in the booth all agreed it was a bogus PI call. PSU got 6 and Minnesota got 2 for a blocked Extra Point so the 4 point swing swayed the game. In the Michigan game they recovered an onsides kick called back. They only lost by 3 so a probable FG would have sent it to OT. I like Fleck. He competes well with less than a star studded roster.

"In the Michigan game they recovered an onsides kick called back"

The dude was also offsides on the kickoff -- razor thin, yea, but offsides none the less.

He's the perfect coach for a program that doesn't have high expectations.

What about Anderson's first season at MSU, fighting for bowl eligibility this weekend, moderate expectations?
You mean Jonathan Smith. He's in a rebuild for sure. I think there have been positives. I'm working with some others to help boost the collectives. No one I deal with there expected a drastic turnaround. Most are pleased with the progress.

Yeah, I was thinking Anderson for some reason, I should still know from the Fiesta bowl in 2000 or so where he torched ND, and at least one or two of the receivers who played in the NFL. One in Cleveland I believe.

They don't get elite talent but play teams with more talent. Let's see how they do at Wisconsin.
Fleck is a solid coach but the bottom line is he's rarely if ever been mentioned for any of the big jobs that have come open in the last 5-6 years and there have been plenty. I think he's a perfect fit at Minnesota given their place in college football.

I think Fleck would be a good fit for LSU. He would recruit better and put life back in that program. Kelly is cooked. At the very least he could resurrect Purdue.
