OT Thanks for the prayers

Thanks all who sent prayers for my mom. We buried her last Wednesday next to my dad and brother. She became a big ND fan after my dad passed. She started watching the games out of curiosity and got hooked. I am obviously heartbroken, mom was my light. I am going to take a break from the board as my heart is not into fb right now. Knowing mom is not here to watch the spring game with me well like I said just not into fb right now. I expect I'll see you all in about August. Thanks again.

It's hard to know that the only person you can absolutely hear the immediate joy in the voice on recognition when you call on the phone is gone. God bless your Mom and welcome her home!

Your mom will be sitting next to you when the 2016 season begins. I'll bet you will feel her presence as ND kicks butt all year long.

Take some time my friend. It gets worse before it gets better, but the pain is galvanizing and with it comes the eventual realization that all will be ok and that your mom is where she belongs (with your dad) and that the two of them are eternally at your side.

We'll be here for you in, any small way that we can be, when you return. God speed Sir.

Close your eyes and stay focused on your many good days together. The pain will pass, but the memories will never die and you will always have those to hold special. My thoughts are with you.
