OT Technical Question on CATV ?

What the Cable Co.’s are realizing is the shift in focus is to rape internet users, charge more for internet to offset the cord cutters. CATV is becoming like a land line phone, so they will get you on the other end!

You got that exactly right ! If someone can really come up with inexpensive internet, they can make a fortune.
Verizon has a data package, but The whole family is on my daughter’s plan and it is much less
Expensive for the family plan. They also give a Veterans’ discount so our family plan is not too bad,
but that is only for cell phones, so I don’t know how that would work with computers ?
It is certainly wireless, and the cell phones today are just like computers?
