Barry O 's right hand man is the Governor of the biggest cesspool of a city in the history of the US.
Hemmoraging funds and murder at an unprecedented rate. What a disaster!
Thank God for Donald J Trump.

I just moved out of Chicago, and Rahm was a major reason why. City has turned into and absolute shit hole. Just a horrible place to live, and even worse if you have a family. As a life long Chicagoan- I can admit-----the place has turned into a dump.

If you're going to post something stupid at least be accurate. Rahm Emmanuel is the mayor of Chicago, not the governor of Chicago? I'm sure you knew Chicago isn't a state. Secondly, he was chief of staff for 1 year. I'm sure you got your paycheck today and probably hopped up on Boonsfarm but give it rest man.

Stinks to hear. I will tell you this. If you asked a New Yorker in 1990 if they would like a brownstone for free in Bed Stuy or Crown Heights. They would of laughed at you or said you can't pay me to live there. Stinkin Dinkins was the mayor and the NYPD was demoralized. Fast forward a few years. I went to a country concert in Coney Island this past Wednesday night. Over 5,000 predominantly white people walking on the boardwalk. I said to my buddy Billy Fitz, we've come a long way from the good ole days of the movie The Warriors!

Typical response from a libtard. You have no solutions as a progressive. I think we all know what he's talking about, troll. Rahm runs Chicago, and is doing so right into the ground.

Sure pal. Tell governor Trump to keep up the good work when you come up from under the table.

Why is this debate wasted on a message board? We need to put this in radio or TV talk form. It may not be football discussion but it is entertaining as hell.

OP doesn't seem to know much about anything. Rahm has never been governor and Chicago's per capita murder rate is well below that of St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans, and a number of other large cities.

Well, Chicago does enjoy the distinction of having the most murders committed last year among all cities, albeit the rate of murder per capita is middle of the pack. Not positive, but I think Chicago also Led the nation in the increase in murders from 2015 to 2016, and they're on track to do so again this year. So, while the OP misstated Governor over Mayor, the essence of the comment that Chicago is hemoraging funds and murder at an unprecedented rate is fairly accurate, hyperbole and all. Not sure why anyone, conservative or liberal or independent, would defend Emmanuel's record as Mayor.

Serious question. What is Rahm doing or not doing that is directly contributing to the senseless killing in the inner city? It's not like people are getting picked off on Michigan Ave and the nicer parts of the city. These murders happen in the hood where drugs and gangs are a way of life. Nothing will change until the people of that community want things to change.

Transparency and honesty would be a good start. Remember the teenager shot 16 times by a policeman while walking away, and the 400 days without any public action, and then the release of the police cam video via court order that prompted quick condemnation by Emanuel, all the while claiming he had never seen the video, which was laughable since he had quietly authorized a $5 million payment to the family. All election year manipulation.

Chicago has/had many issues outside of Laquan McDonald.

I'm amused by the Maggots who attack Rahm by bringing up Barry. Reveals their bias and undermines their argument before it even starts.

I'm no fan of Rahm and have worked against many of his policies. Like Trump he is obsessed with his own image first. Like Trump, he expects his underlings to "love him" and take orders, not give intelligent advice. He claims to be a great negotiator but in fact he is a bully who wants his own way on everything. Sound familiar. He is the Progressive side of the same coin as Donald. There is no real policy direction, just political expediency. Fortunately he doesn't make stupid public threats or go on twit storms.

Chicago has had many years where its murder total was higher than 2016 or what 2017 is projected to reach, and the spike in recent totals have taken place in large part because of federal laws relaxing gun enforcement, something Rahm vehemently opposed. It's not a matter of supporting Rahm or even believing he's performed well as mayor, but ascribing proper blame for what he's done.

Quest is a government hack! Sucking at the teeth of the taxpayers.

Serious question, didn't juliani do something about the crime rate when he was mayor of New York?
He did an amazing job. He didn't care what the race of the people were involved. He simply solved the crime epidemic there by targeting the areas that consistently had violent crimes taking place. He put a huge police presence in those areas on the map. He blocked out the Q4twelve group that lives and dies with the PC culture.

Bloomberg continued with the same crime fighting policy of Rudy. The liberal mayor now in NYC has reverted to new tactics and the crime rate is going up again.

May God have mercy on your soul. You are the most delusional person on here.
Actually, Sean is pretty damn consistent in applying the same standards across the board, which I appreciate. Many of us on both ends of the political spectrum have selective outrage and we come across as hypocrites. At least he is able and willing to dump on Emanuel and Trump with near equal disdain.

He is consistently clueless!

I'm sure that makes the people of Chicago sleep much better at night, but I fo find it interesting that liberal policies have made each of those cities where the criminals rule the streets

Read about DiBiaso's instructions on the police dealing with the nudistas . He will slowly kill nyc in the name of liberalism.

Actually, liberal policy didn't "liberalize" gun dispersal, which spiked urban crime. We could also talk about how 7 of the bottom education states are under GOP Governors

Aren't there way more republican governors than democrat governors? I think it's like 35-15 so that ends up being a pretty irrelevant statement based on an unequal poll.
