In my opinion, She is the pretiest first lady that we ever had ! Jackie Kenedy was the next most beautiful !
Our new First Lady is very elegant in her dress and and also very compossed as was Jackie !

What do you guys think of Julie Bowen making fun of the Trump's 10 year old son? I can't stand grown people who bully little children!

I guess you approve of Julie Bowen making fun of the Trump's 10 year old son too? Very sad day for the Democratic (Liberal/Socialist) Party of America. I can't stand grown people who bully little children!

Many Dems really look the part of sore losers...

Yeah, that was a bad move. I haven't seen anyone support Bowen.

Beautiful and both very accomplished. Didn't vote for Trump, and frankly don't like his bullying narcissistic personality, and many of his offensive statements and actions. I'm considered over the top conservative here in Northern Calif., so probably viewed as a moderate elsewhere, and view Trump as a third Party running under the banner of the GOP. That said, I hope Trump is successful in changing the way Washington works and seriously diminishes the influence of money and special interests; and I hope we do in fact grow the economy and refocus expenditures to rebuilding and revitalizing our inner cities and infrastructure. I may not like or even respect Trump, but I sure as hell want him and America to be successful, and while I don't expect him to act Presidential in front of crowds, I do expect the First Lady and daughter to represent us with class and dignity.

You know Telx, I have to go all the way back to Carter vs Ford to find an election where I respected both men. I didn't like a single candidate in this election. I knew that I was feed up to my eyeballs with Obamaism. I believe that Clinton would be his puppet for the next four years. She wasn't an ethical person either. I went with change and it will come. I am a moderate Democrat but I'm getting tired of feeling like an outsider within this tidal way of this elitist liberalism. Nixon and Brother Graham confirmed what we all knew since high school. There's the public man, the home man, and the private man that only a very few people if any know. What really kicks us all in the butt; God knows all three. I really like watching President Trump's family. They're like an invading army wherever they go.

Whats wrong with America first ? Isn't Notre Dame judged by its victories ? I'm ready to be number one again on both fronts.

Yes Ara, and that's why I mentioned I don't expect Trump to change in front of a crowd. In contrast, he comes across more thoughtful in one on one interviews. I think a lot of moderate conservatives feel like outsiders to the ideological right driven GOP, just as you do with respect to the progressive elitist that have taken control of your party. Disenchantment with both gave us Trump. I was all for a new approach with pragmatism over ideology, etc... and now reluctantly accept that folks like Rubio and Kasich, whom I
liked and supported, would not have been the change agents that Trump has the potential to be.

The problem is, that I don't trust Trump's judgement as to what needs changing and to what does not. I would too would have much prefered Kasich.

There is a cost to making things unstable. Cross your fingers everyone.

Ara and Telx,

excellet and very thoughtful posts by both of you !
I don't think that Trump is either a Republican, Demercrat, Liberal, or Conservative. He is more of a Third Party Independent operating under the Republican Party name.
His Infrastructure plans remind me of FDR,s
CCC,s, NRA, and a lot of other Public Works Programs of the New Deal that built roads, dams, bridges, Water Ways, etc.
They also created Jobs both directly and indirectly.
FDR loved to give his Fire Side Chats, and as a young boy, I remember my family gathering around the radio to listen
to those talks. Trump also loves to use the Media and he is a master at it.
Trump's Tax cuts are his conservative side. As far as his
foreign policy it seems that Trump wants to destroy ISIS, but
also want to push other Nations to do a lot more of the heavy
lifting in both currency and man power. I ( as an old Marine )
love his picking the two generals.
In short, I think Trump can not be placed in any catagory ? He certainly has a hugh ego, is very combative. But if one watches closely, he seems to listen carefully and seems to
have a very quick mind ? Perhaps, some of his combativeness
is one of his negotiation techniques ?
With an ego as big as his and his complete devotion to solving problems that leaves very little room for failures.
I think that he is also reaching out in a very serios way to the
minorities and if his programs seceed, the Democrat hold over those voting blocks will be broken , and as a result many of the solid blue states will swing to red ?
It will be a very interesting Presidency !

just a thought on the new 1st Lady. JMO.

This is not someone that like the Queen of England is taught to be a public person or (royalty) from earliest childhood. This is a woman who through events or fate has found herself in this role. I feel for her. She looks intimidated by the whole thing about "First Lady", but I think she shows signs of a humility and grace that will allow her to gradually learn the ropes and in time be someone that will be very respected and a respectable First Lady.

Pray for her. Give her a chance.

There is a cost to making things unstable. Thank you Obama/Hilary/Kerry

Kasich is weak, and the liberal choice on the 16 Which is why he was never in the running
