I found what I feel was a great line on Urban Meyer from "The Athletic" web site's Bubble Screen column by John Walters. The main topic in the column was on the influence of Kirk Herbstreit, but he also took a small shot near the end of the column at Gus Johnson's semi-tribute to Urban Meyer during Fox's telecast of the Michigan vs Ohio State game.
Johnson began heaping praise on Meyer for overcoming the difficulties that Ohio State had experienced this season caused by domestic violence accusations against Zach Smith. Walters took Johnson to task and wrote what I considered to be a great line: "It's not overcoming adversity when you are the architect of said adversity".
