We all bitch about BK and not running Power.

I've watched Ohio State a few times this year. They looked awesome in Norman and most other games I've watched they have looked like crap. Like a high school offense.

I wonder whether Urb gives Warriner the axe after this blood bath

Im not surprised by this outcome.
but I'm shocked during the season I thought Ohio State's
Oline sucked Gave up 8 sacks vs Michigan.
I haven't seen any power running. Haven't seen any innovation on offense. They can't throw the ball down the field vs anyone.
JT Barrett holds the ball worse than Kizer under pressure.
Again, they lost a ton to the NFL but their offense flat out sucks.

The announcers were talking about how creative the Clemson offense ,compared to the bland and predictable Ohio State . Watching Clemson ,it seems they have a lot of different plays to choose from . Just a month or so ago ,I was watching a Patriots game and as I recall analyst Phil SImms had a similar observation about the Patriots and their 100 or so plays .

Maybe Clemson has the players to carry out the game plan. My point is Kelly better come up with a new playbook .He is not the wide open offense that the Irish expected

He made it to the playoffs and has 3 national titles to his name. I have nothing bad to say about how his team performs year in and year out. Heck they beat the heavily favourite tides in the semis and slaughtered the ducks in 2014 for the title. We went 4 - 8. Can't throw stones with our record. I am pretty sure most if not all on here would rather have Meyer as HC over Kelly.

Nick Saban. Urban Meyer, Chris Peterson and Dabo Swinney all great coaches. I'm sure everyone would agree with that assessment. I watched both games. The thing that stood out to me was that Alabama had better players, Clemson had better players. All the coaching in the world couldn't change that simple fact. Alabama and Clemson were playing at a very high level. The end result was two very convincing wins over two really good teams. Alabama and Clemson were just better. That doesn't take anything away from Ohio st or Washington. Sometimes it really is nothing more than my players are better than your players and we are going to prove it. Alabama and Clemson told the college football world that they are clearly the two best teams of the 2016 season. One more game and we will see who is the best.

Hiville, I have to say I believe you are right. However, these two teams are pretty closely matched. As I watched both games I got the sense that Clemson was playing with a " chip " on their shoulder. This Clemson team has a real shot at winning. My common sense says Bama will win but my gut tells me there is something brewing and Clemson find a way. I have no horse in the race. I just enjoy watching really good college football games. I think this one could be a real gem. May the best team win as they say.
