2nd week in a row facing a PA team that is exceeding expectations, prides themselves on defense and is looking for a signature win.

ND hopefully has learned a little bit about playing on the road. How will they do with a noon kick off?

ND -- 34
Pitt -- 20

What's your prediction?

ND will win but Pitt WR, Tyler Boyd, has thrown a couple of passes this season and has run the ball 17 times. Don't think that the Pitt OC hasn't taken notice to the possibility of a trick play or two.
Irish 27 Pitt Panthers 14

Vegas favors ND by 8

Pitt has not had a big win over a meaningful opponent yet this year.

Pitt does have a history of playing ND tough at home.

Pitt coaching does understand Brian Kelly's offensive approach.

Pitt is weak when it comes to putting pressure on the QB. That's a real plus for Kizer.

Pitt's secondary is their "achilles heel".............Given time Kizer will shred the Pitt secondary or will find ways to run for key first downs.

Unless the Pitt defense somehow makes a complete transformation ND should cover.

Conclusión: ND 28, Pitt 17

Hopefully ND's red zone struggles come to an end.

If they do: ND-35
pitt-17
If they don't: ND-23

Pitt looked terrible against UNC last week, but they always play ND tough.

Watch Narduzzi though. He acts just like Harbaugh, arguing every call that goes against Pitt.

Pitt looked really pathetic on offense last week. ND did too until the last drive. Pitt has the better defense but ND has way more athletes all around. I feel espn is screwing ND on purpose with this noon start. Kelly will find a way to keep it close. I want this game bad so I'm going with a homer pick.

What a bunch of crap. We all know you are pulling for Pitt.

Defense puts in a complete game. KR and Luke play their best game to date. A handful of explosive plays from the O and a few long sustained drives that they finish.

ND - 34
Pitt- 9

I guess we shall find out if Kelly actually worked on the red zone this week. If so 10+ point win. If not could easily be a loss. I'll have to stick with what I've seen so far...ND 27 Pitt 25

The Red Zone. It was discussed on "Sports Beat" and Eric Hansen actually asked if Josh was going to see some Red Zone action in close to the goal. BKs answer wasn't yes, but it wasn't no. The premise here is that Josh is bigger than CJ and also knows how to run in tight formations. Remember, CJ is still in his first year as a RB and still has some learnin' to do. It was also mentioned about the turnovers and at times, lack of execution by the OL. This may not be an easy fix. Eric had a very interesting talk on our Red Zone problems.

Pitt plays up to competition and we play down to competition. Result? Another very close game. Still don't believe our red zone offense is competent, and why should I? More points left on the field in this one, including at least one turnover near the endzone, in what could have been a sound victory.

ND : 27
Pitt : 23

Not sure I would say the overall performance of the offense was pathetic. 467 yards is very good. Just had a hard time cashing in on good drives...like always.

We'll come out lackadaisical, trail at the half, and win the game in the 4th quarter. Wouldn't expect anything less against Pitt.

ND 27 Pitt 17. Game decided in the fourth quarter. Pitt will be sky high, just as Temple was last week.

The former Pitt Greats are all in Pittsburgh and this is their Super Bowl once again is 2015. I expect a spirited effort, but the ND athletes will take over the game.

The Irish will be and have been the best players on the field in every game this year, including the unfortunate outcome at Clemson.

ND needs to beware of a let down, but should win with ease.
