Army is just so over matched talent wise, this game should be over early !
yea, it is actually something heartbreaking to watch. It may be good gate/rev/publicity but it is just not a competitive match.
ND is making a statement to the college football world.
What kinda statement? That you don't have to play defense to win?
The 4th down stop by the Irish defense reminds me of something Lou would say. He said that you don't defense the option. You attack it. That's exactly what happened on that stop. Don't play on your heels but attack.
Yep. I was thinking that the entire Navy game. Navy attacked ND reacted. ND should have attacked.
I would love to see wimbush get some meaningful playing time ? isn’t there somethig about his losing eligibility if he plays this season ?
He's still on the team. But I understand that they've decided to "red shirt" him this year.

One reason I "hate" the spread and passing in short yardage situations (especially near the end zone). Much rather have an offense that can BULL its way in.
