I'm for it too. I would love it if ND went back to the mindset that brought all those WWll vets to ND after the war with Coach Leahy. I doubt 10% of those players would be admitted into ND today. I want to win football games again. I'm simply tired of this mediocre crap that I've been watching this year. Kelly reminded me of Jerry Faust yesterday. He has tired everything he knows and has no answers left.

That's the problem. If he's tried everything he knows ...we'll that's just it. What he thinks he knows is so upside down it's become an embarrassment.

Announcers are normally not very critical of the teams playing. But they sure we're expressing their dismay and disbelief that Kelly continued to pass over and over and over in a Hurricane.

Ara, the losing this year is bad enough, but the way we are losing is what finally pushed me over to believing Kelly's time has run its course. We play soft on both sides of the ball. Our fundamentals are horrible. The absence of emotion is contagious. Yesterday's offensive game plan and play calling was possibly the worse I've seen under Kelly. Every team we've played this year plays harder, runs harder, tackles harder, etc... than we do, and most with inferior talent. How in the hell does our OL play so poorly and uninspired week after week with the talent we have? Last week I said that Kelly had earned the right to salvage this season by showing steady progress weekly while playing our young guys on defense, and he had earned the right to deliver a major bowl winning team next year. Neither seems possible now.
