6'4" Lauren Cox ,the nation's # 1 girls' high school player has decided to verbal to Baylor over Connecticut , Notre Dame ,Tennessee ,Louisville . Her parents are graduates of SMU , but Cox opted for Baylor which is about 2 hours from her parents' home and they could go to all her home games . Think that was a major consideration .Cox does have Type 1 diabetes .
Thought all along that the decision would come down to Baylor , UConn, with ND a close 3rd .
Personally glad it wasn't UConn ,which if you looked at their recruiting ;UConn would be that much harder to beat if they successfully recruited Cox .
