NY TIMES KIZER ARTICLE

A lot of great kids on this team and Kizer, as a sophomore, has proven to be a natural leader. Imagine him behind center for the Irish in 3 years?! (or even two?)

We really need him to play big on Saturday.

NDVT...thanks for sharing. Yes, everything I've read about Kizer reveals a high character young man with natural leadership qualities. Just watching Kelly interact with him on the sidelines is a nice change, as Kelly often talks about how Kizer Holds himself to account and learns from his mistakes, etc... He is a talent for sure, and everything we want representing ND. That said, I'm clearly in the minority here as not willing to concede the three year starting QB position to him with Malik and Wimbush in the mix next year. It should be his to lose, but these guys are talented as well, and also appear to be The RKG.

I want to see Kelly use two QB's next year liberally -- I like Kizer a lot but Zaire is my guy in the red zone -- see LSU -- KIzer has issues in the red zone . I will be glad that Zaire is an option next year .

ND will always need TWO good QB's to win. Most other schools do too. I'm in the MALIK camp as my 2016 starter-----but want to see DK take us to PLAYOFFS!!!

BEAT da trees!!!
