Tomorrows game is huge for the Irish. If we can beat a decent team on the road who have a excellent Dline and accurate QB it will do wonders for the Irish heading into two big games (Stanford,then bye, then Miami) Lose and everyone's spirits will be crushed.
If we can win this game I think we can beat Stanford and Miami,

*** I will be more excited about the season if we start a winning streak and have a chance for ten wins.

*** I am glad it will be raining. Playing football in rain and mud is fun !

*** I am glad it is another early start. ND usually does better in early games. I hate night games.

Syracuse was critically important to stop the bleeding and a downward spiral. This game is critically important to a possible season turnaround. Anxious as hell to get this one started for all the reasons Bodi states.

DK is experienced at this type weather.I just hope it isn't too bad because our passing game might suffer. Also, don't let this game get down to a make or break FG because our man Yoon has already missed two FGs in good weather that he should have made.

I realize Kelly just signed an extension. and the Irish are trying to build somethings that impact hiring a new coach but should we have a count down calendar to when Kelly is gone. I do not see how the admin can keep him. We are 2 and 4.

Short term I'd agree it's time to fire him but long term it would be better to wait until next year. Texas and LSU are definitely going to be open and I think USC will as well. That's 3 of the top 10 or maybe 15 college football jobs already open that you'd be competing against.
