Four-star linebacker Samson "Toa" Satele II, a 2027 recruit at Mililani (Hawaii) High, reported a Notre Dame offer Tuesday. Notre Dame director of recruiting advancement Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa is recruiting in his home state this week.
Notre Dame joined an offer list of more than 20 schools for Satele, which includes Hawaii, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon and USC. Rivals ranks Satele as the No. 12 linebacker and No. 209 overall in the 2027 class. Satele reported 45 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, one interception and one blocked punt from his sophomore season last fall.
Satele's father, Samson Satele, played at Hawaii before becoming a second-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played center for the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts from 2007-14.
