Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock made a visit to Dunlap (Ill.) High on Friday to see 2026 tight end Mack Sutter. That trip resulted in a scholarship offer for Sutter.
The Irish are relatively late to offer Sutter as he's already reported more than 40 offers from other program. As a result of so much interest from college programs, Sutter has made multiple visits to Iowa, Ole Miss, Illinois, Penn State, Alabama, Ohio State and Auburn.
Notre Dame will try to get Sutter on its campus, too. Rivals ranks Sutter as the No. 4 tight end and No. 105 overall in the 2026 class.
