We never look good against Navy, but surprised we held them to 24. Schmidt had his moments, but he doesn't seem to be the player he was last year before the injury. Next week should be a war.

The Irish crushed the soul of the undefeated 4 and 0 Navy football team and ran the ball right down their throats to finish the game.

With ten minutes to go Navy took Keenan out of the game ! They raised the white flag !

When has that happened before? BVGS defense hit every Navy player as hard as they could for the whole game until Navy quit !!

Best win over Navy in a long time !

Bodie, were you watching a 20 yr old tape? Way too many missed arm tackles, and too much high tackling for my taste. Still, a good win over a good Navy team. We might have escaped without any major injuries as well.

Next week will be fun -- great to see Grace make some plays - happy for the kid .
All in all a good second half for the Irish . It's a shame that posters on this board think when the team gives up a few big plays that that automatically reflects on the coaching staff and no respect is given to the opponents -- CLASSIC syndrome of those that have never competed in their lives .

BTW Tillery went out in the first half banged up and Navy's next play was up the gut for a TD - kudos on a great play call

I didn't say anything about tacklin form ! I said they hit Keenan hard on almost every play !
