On Saturday, 2023 TE Henry Garrity from Bloomfield Hills (Mich.) Brother Rice announced his commitment to Notre Dame. He will join the Irish as a preferred walk-on.
Henry is the son of former Notre Dame basketball player Pat Garrity, who played for the Irish in the late 90s. Pat is currently the assistant general manager for Detroit Pistons.
Henry reported scholarship offers from Illinois State, Eastern Michigan, Connecticut, Navy, Army, Dartmouth, Centeal Michigan, Air Force, Columbia, Holy Cross, Brown, Butler, Richmond and Lehigh.
