You were one of the commenters here trashing Miami, and how ND was going to destroy Miami. So it's obvious you can dish it out, but certainly can't take it. So now you want to whine, and cry. It was ND that got destroyed. Would you like a tissue ?

Now all of a sudden out of no where their fans beat their chest. Where were all the cane fans when ND beat them the last few times they played? Win or lose, Notre Dame fans show up all the time. So congrats on your team's big win. They played lights out and took to the Irish. Looking foward to the next time both teams meet. Go Irish!!

Different perspective- Congratulations on a very nice season. Your turnaround this season is nothing short of impressive. The changes made by Kelly are paying off and will continue for years to come.
I grew up with parents that loved both the Canes and Notre Dame. I rooted for both teams growing up. We would go to the Cane games at the Orange Bowl and watch ND on the television. That was a ritual at home.
I went to school at Miami but always also followed and rooted for the Irish. My interest for Notre Dame started to diminish during the Catholics vs Convict era. I know our team came across a little crude, but for the most part, they were actually good individuals.
Time heals all wounds and I started to follow ND football again. I have been discouraged by the attitude and demeanor of some fans on both sides. One in particular has been the reference by some to this Miami team as thugs or convicts which is the furthest thing from the truth. Coach Mark Richt has this team focused on becoming better individuals and for life after football. This current team leads the country in voluntary community hours, are extremely respectful and continuously provide positive contributions to our community.
I apologize for taking so much time on your board but I thought that sharing my perspective would be a little different from some of the posters on this venue that are pretending to be Cane fans.
Good luck for the remainder of the season, win-out and enjoy a significant bowl game.

I think Auburn has a very good chance to beat them next weekend. BUT if they don't and Georgia doesn't. I don't think anyone beats them in the championship game. they will get the month to prepare for which ever team it is. and they have the exp. of having been there the last so many yrs. there is no D Watson that will beat them in that game like he did last yr. I can't stand bama. but they are who they are and if they get some of those injured players back for the bowl game. I don't see any team beating them. and pains me like heck to say that.
