Notre Dame = grossly overrated

In reading all the score predictions on this message board, it's obvious Notre Dame fans live in a delusional world, and need a lot more practice predicting scores.

The Miami Hurricanes just gave people that predicted a Notre Dame win, a healthy dose of "shut the hell up". The Canes proved they are a far superior team than Notre Dame, and dominated Notre Dame in every category. Notre Dame didn't belong on the same field as Miami.

I’m a Cane fan and the OP doesn’t represent the fan base of Miami. I don’t know how much you guys were overrated and how much we were underrated but our 12th man gave us a huge advantage tonight. You never had a chance to get into a rhythm.

You’ve still had a great turnaround season and it’s not over yet. Tonight was not your night but I respect your team. Wimbush was definitely the best QB we’ve faced all season. Good luck in the rest of your season.

I do think you should join the ACC in football. Not having a chance to play in a conference championship really does narrow your window for an off-nite.

Iowa beat OSU 55-24 at home then proceeded to get smashed on the road.

Playing at home in front of a frenzy can feed a team and get them to play at a superhuman level. Combine that with ND obviously coming out playing 'not to lose' and this is the result.

Still not convinced ND, if playing Miami 10 times, doesn't win 6 of them on a neutral field. This was one of those unraveling type games and it was impossible to stop the bleeding. Momentum is real.
