I think I've gone with Trumbetti each of the last two years, and been wrong each time. Thought his move to WDE last year would finally give us the rush end pressure we desperately need, and thought he would excel. Missed on both counts, and he's back to SDE, and once again I am picking him for a great comeback. The guy has strength and quickness and a great motor, but the hit and hold your space philosophy of BVG was a terrible fit for Trumbetti. I think he'll thrive in Elko's system as will Morgan and Tranquil and Bilal, etc....

Brian Kelly needs to step up. Win 10 or 11 games, get to a major bowl or find a new coach.

Am I the only one who has given up completely on trumbetti? I saw multiple times against Texas last year he gets blocked from one side of the line to the other. Zero pass rush either. I think he loses starting job before spring ends

I think he might fit worse in Elko's offense than BVG's.

Me too. I watched wake against Clemson and it was the running game not deshaun that destroyed them. Guys like trumbetti aren't going to give a strong presence stopping the run

I am going with Andrew Trumbetti !! Coach Elko and Matt Ballis will turn Andrew into an angry Beast !! Who do you got?!!!

Comeback player of the year seems to mean someone who sucked last year but is good this year. With this team that could be anyone. My vote is the equipment manager. To many ripped jerseys last year if he can turn that around then he'll get my vote.
