Notre Dame and Ben Davis

With Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi it takes a special kid to be an all-everything stud recruit and leave the state, especially to leave and not go to another SEC school or maybe FSU. A "different" kind of kid like Tillery. The pressure to go to State U is immense in those states. Georgia and Florida are different. They produce so much high level talent that the "home" schools couldn't take them all even if they wanted to go there. So the paradigm is different as far as leaving the state to go elsewhere. Not nearly the pressure to stay home.
 
agree, but it takes a different kind of kid to go to ND

look at Chris Martin, he kept leaving home.
