Didn’t take long for Miami to punch them in the face.

Big run from Homer is finished off by a short rushing TD for the Canes. On the next drive, UNC QB drops back on 3rd down and fumbles. Miami scoops and scores. 14-3 Canes and still in the first QTR.

UNC pulls their QB after two drives, and after a rushing FD, goes backwards bringing up 4th down. Miami thug bails them out with an unsportsmanlike penalty. UNC works its way into the red zone and the back up QB runs it in for 6. 14-10 Hurricanes lead, still in the first QTR.
