It was 12 wins and 4 losses.. but those years were outliers..

12 win season had loss to pitt when they missed a chip shot field goal to win the game..
loss to Stanford when they crossed goal line to win but were not given a touchdown..

4 loss season had like 7 or 8 games where ND lost by one possession.. usually those sort of games are half and half wins/losses
