Notre Dame has extended a scholarship offer to Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban three-star athlete Jonah Morris.
Morris, who is committed to Michigan State, said he was expecting an offer from the Irish before it came on Tuesday.
"I use to watch them a little, they were very fun and interesting to watch," Morris said in a message. "I mean I'm very thankful. ... It's an honor to receive a offer like this."
The 6-4, 190-pound Morris is being recruited as a safety and wide receiver by the Irish. He also mentioned the "rover" position on defense.
