Notre Dame has extended an offer to Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County four-star defensive end Antonneous Clayton. Clayton, checks in at 6-4, 218 pounds, told AuburnSports.com earlier this week that Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee are the five schools that stand out the most right now. Clayton's cousin, Montravius Adams, signed with Auburn back in 2013.
Irish recruiting coordinator Mike Elston was at Dooly County High on Wednesday to extend the bid, per @RivalsWoody. The offer marks the fifth for Notre Dame that has gone out in the state of Georgia since last week. Clayton is also the fourth defensive end that has been offered in the past week.
"I don't really care where I play football, I'm just looking for the right school," Clayton said.
The rising junior said he plans to visit Notre Dame in June, but doesn't have a set date for the trip.
