The OG false started as I initially thought. I’m rewatching the game now. What a crock of crap. BTW, I called this out in the game thread, but of course they never showed the replay

Damn refs! 49:30 min mark on the Hulu replay

I think Kiser moves first but has he crossed into the neutral zone before the guard moves? Its really hard to tell.

I think Kiser was trying to time it up based on the play clock.

What about when the pass got the offense lineman and illegal touching wasn't called.

I think this should have been false start. Kiser moves first it seems but has not crossed into the neutral zone. Sort of hard to tell though with the camera angle.

I agree its a missed call.

I don’t even think Kiser moved first. The center bobbed his head hard and the OG immediately starts backpedaling with his left leg. Look at his (OG) reaction to the flag. He thought it was on him.

Are you taking about where Marrist was about to sack him and he tossed it into the back of the lineman? If so, why wasn’t that intentional grounding. I was confused on that. He was inside the tackle box, ball hit the lineman.

I edited my original post just to show more uncertainty.

I don’t see his reaction anywhere unless you mean immediately after the whistle. I can’t discern anything from that.

The center moves his head first but that doesn’t start the play. The ball doesn’t seem like its in a position to be long snapped either.

If you tap the pause rapidly, I think Kiser moves first before the guard, but did he cross the neutral zone? Hard to say.

Hit #1’s hand for ND first. If you mean the play at 13:52. 3rd quarter.

He also got hit as throwing and has an excuse for the throw.
