Navy, Pitt, Texas, Wake, UVA, BC, GT all lost.

I think tonight is all about Kelly finally beating that top-10 type team on the road. It would mean so much for this program to continue to go in the right direction. Oklahoma finished #15 in 2012 and that's the only time I remember this coach doing something big on the road. He always loses at Stanford, Michigan, Florida State(once in Orlando), and you get the point.

Just block everything out and kick Stanford's a##!

Your only point is that you hate Kelly. Yawn.

Our only hope is that we win and Oklahoma loses... (Or Alabama.)

But we need to win first.

4 Irish opponents (Clemson, Stanford, Temple, and USC) could be playing for conference championships next week. Compare that to Iowa, who has a team (illinois state) in the FCS playoffs. I think our strength of schedule is just fine. Just win tonight, we may be getting some help in the Iron Bowl today.

If Iowa is not getting punished for playing cupcake row, then I don't think the SOS carries that much weight.

I don't know why people are complaining so much about Iowa. Frankly, their SOS is hurting them, which is why they aren't ahead of Alabama.

No undefeated Power 5 team (and I will include Notre Dame in this) will ever be left out of the playoff.

Well that is obviously incorrect. What happens when/if all power 5 conference winners are undefeated? In a 4 team playoff, by definition, someone is left out

ND has no chance of making the playoff even if they beat Stanford tonight.

Yep the committee used ND in a bait and switch perfectly - they used it for ratings only for the stupid show. How bad is the Big - any team that plays in that turd and doesn't average 8 wins is pathetic.

I don't think that statement - while an exception to my blanket comment - really contradicts the intent of my post.

If I have issues with teams being in front of Notre Dame in the rankings, it's not with the undefeated teams.
