ND versus Texas moved to Sunday

I think it is dumb to move it this late. They have just screwed a whole bunch of people.

Allows the pride of the little 12 to be undefeated 1 more day.
No biggie. Though would prefer the game on Saturday. That is the only day of the week ND should be allowed to play a regular season game if there isn't some kind of outside reason (weather / security ) etc

on the other hand, some players and coaches who otherwise would never get to, get to play on Sunday!
If ND vs Texas on Sat. there will no tv so moved to Sunday. Dumb idea by both AD. Plymouth Indiana have Fest Balloon set up and firework display on Sept 4! I am hope the game start early on Sunday 4.
My friend told me all hotels in Texas accept if they wanted to changes it. The Rally for ND will be on Sat night.

That friggen sucks !! Sunday is the Sabbath day ! A day of rest and spiritual reflection ! I can't watch ! I swear too much during the Irish games !

and physical recovery time. and as for the ND players, probably affects classes and study time. It clearly ain't just 'a hey let's play Sunday' thing. The players concerns were clearly secondary.
Is labour day Monday not a holiday in Indiana? I doubt there are classes on the Monday but nevertheless they will not get back to ND until the early morning hours of Monday morning and have one less day to recover before facing the Nevada Wolf Pack who would have played on Saturday and then had to fly to ND.

Yes, Indiana celebrates Labor Day, but looks like ND has classes that day.

We'll have a short week to prep for Nevada. Then we play MSU. MSU will have 2 weeks to prep for us as they have a bye......
Couple years ago ND played Navy, in Ireland, flew back, had classes that week. And played against Purdue. Still managed to win both games. And still had MSU in week 3 in that schedule as well. And that game was at MSU. Not at home.
Yes, think Labor Day might be the first realization for some freshmen college students that they're not in HS anymore. (bigger whine comes when they figure out that colleges rarely have snow days)
Just extended my hotel reservation and pushed my flight out 24 hours. Looking forward to an extra day in a great college town!
No. They will practice immediately after the game is over, so as not to lose a day of practice.
I'm curious how that works out. I thought NCAA rules required programs to give players 1 day off each week.

I think you folks will destroy Texas this year. They are still a program in disarray, they can't make up their minds if they hate their coach or not, they have no QB, and the defensive playmakers are true sophomores.
With all due respect one of CFB's best moments last year was Strong being carried off the field after beating you guys. imo Strong is one of the good guys....
