ND to play Arkansas

Hopefully their coach/ mascot will still be there. That guy can lose a game with the best of them.
The way ND/Jack are scheduling teams 8 years out in advance, IMO shows ND is not joining a conference for football anytime soon. I know this is nothing new scheduling this far out in advance but if he had visions of joining soon, then they wouldn't be scheduling Arkansas for 2025.
Unfortunately, they're probably thinking the same thing about Notre Dame's coach.
There may very well be specific out clauses for that occurrence, and there are general buyout clauses in every contract.
I like the scheduling 2 game series with teams like Michigan , Oklahoma ,Michigan State ,Northwestern ,TCU,Georgia, Arkansas , plus ACC teams like Florida State ,Miami ,Clemson and our yearly games with USC,Stanfprd, Navy. Truly a national schedule and no college can match this claim
First game ever with Arkansas. I think this game should go retro with Frank Broyles wishbone and Ara's power running game and a defense that kills. Like Georgia, Arkansas fans will be here by the bus load. The Jumbo should be up and running by then , the gray hairs will have moved on and the current crop of fans who stand during a punt will now be shouting for an even younger base to sit down. BK will still be looking for the secret to consistency in his program and students will walk out of opening day because Jack didn't think to add gender neutral bathrooms in the stadium when it was remodeled a few years earlier.
In September, not November, typical SEC, no cold weather please we are afraid of winter. Hope a cold winter storm hits 3 days before the game just to mess with their minds.

UGA IMO has been the one team from the SEC to go anywhere.....long before Bama Durning the Saban years
Under AD Damon Evans UGA started signing home and homes around the country, which was a major departure from under Vince Dooley. They went to Colorado, Arizona State and Oklahoma State, in addition to Clemson, over the past ten years. When McGarrity took Evans' place, he scrubbed that idea, including cancelling a scheduled home and home with Oregon. He is from the Jeremy Foley school of scheduling. Where the ND series came from is a mystery.
