LOL. I walk into the house, flip on the game and watch us screw up a punt return and fail to cover an onside kick. I don't care if we win by 50, this team is not well coached.

Notre Dame is 24-0 under Brian Kelly when leading by 20+ points, per ESPN Stats and Info. Additionally, Miami is 1-19 since 2010 when training by 17.

this would be 4x this yr where a single isolated bad play caused the whole game to fall apart. No mental toughness anywhere

They don't seem to be playing with abandon like they started out with.

So a blocker touches a punt for one turnover, we fail to cover an onside kick, and now we get a punt blocked. Can anyone tell me why we shouldn't fire the entire coaching staff and start over?

(1) Why keep trying to run sweeps when our best runs today have been up the gut?

(2) Why all those empty backfield plays?

(3) Stupidest punt formation I've witnesses ... got a punt blocked and lost to NC State, got a punt partially blocked just now.

That ^^ and our apparent inability to take advantage of red zone opportunities. Twice we settle for FGs. Kelly's offense just has NO SHORT YARDAGE PACKAGE.

I thought once the ball was snapped they couldn't stop play to review the previous play. It sure looked like we got the play off.
