Miami is NOT this good. ND is playing scared! Miami struggled to beat a NC that ND crushed.
ND is not scared. ND is just getting its ass kicked. It happens. Look at Georgia Auburn or Ohio State Iowa last week.
I get what you are saying. The only difference IMO is that it happens every time that ND is in a big game like this. How often does that happen to OSU? If that were the case with ND I would be right there with you. However, over the last 20 years this has become a trend for ND in games like these.
We are getting beaten because Miami is faster than us. The coaches haven't failed to prepare the team for a loud crowd and a hyped up team. They are just better than us.
I agree with you and that's exactly why this program will not be an elite team in college football. Because ND will constantly be exposed by teams that have talent and speed across the board.
And allow me to add: It's a bad habit to shape your opinions of ND football based on what you read on this board.

Faster? Lol. We need a turnover chain. Lmfao. Was Miami faster than us the last few times? Is North Carolina faster than us? Ridiculous. Keep listening to herbie. When these kids go to the combine, compare the speeds. A Ferrari getting passed by a work truck just tells you who has more desire to get somewhere. Some of these guys don't look like they want be there. Tillery shouldn't be on the D line.
Tillery plays like a hibernating grizzly bear that couldn't work his way out of a wet paper bag with 5" razor sharp claws.

Nope. Played minor ball, but played high level hockey my whole life. This team reminds me of the kid every hockey player knows. Has all the talent, is the quickest kid on the team, but against tough competition, they won't go in the corners and almost disappear completely. Speed doesn't mean a thing. They aren't that much faster. Keep believing that. It is an attitude/mentality. Remember Aaron Lynch?Has it ever occurred to you that sometimes the other team is just better?
I personally think Tillery has had a very good season. The entire team got whipped on both sides of the ball tonight.
Miami was just better.

Simply watch the game again. Watch both of our lines. Our guys play like gentle giants. Yes, we had mistakes all over the place, but the trenches are the foundation.Speed means a shitload. Ask Lou Holtz or Jimmy Johnson. To say that ND got its ass handed to it because its players don't play hard enough is absurd. There are emotional ups and downs, of course. See last year when we developed a losing mentality early in the season.
But these guys know what was at stake tonight and to say that they threw in the towel because they didn't have the mental toughness required is just ignorant.
They got beat tonight because the other team was better. Not 41-8 better, but you turn the ball over and allow an emotional team to feed on it and bad things happen.
Most vulnerable Bama team in years. Some of it due to injuries, but I agree with most of what you saytonight was the Irish's bad game of the yr. Just like when we crushed SC. watch the canes lose next week lol. big letdown game for them next week. ask OSU about that one lol. what is funny is all the talk about the canes are back like it is the 80's again sheesh. Bama will smash their butts if they get to championship game. just like they would have done to us. so settle down with the something is back after one win over a one dimensional Irish team. no great team this yr in college football. and good luck beating bama in the championship game. glad I won't have to witness another one of those beat downs again.
