ND is #4 in the 2nd Week of the Playoff Rankings

ND finally gets some credit for playing a tough schedule.

Two games the Irish cannot look past, but keep winning and a win a Stanford and it would be a travesty to see them fall out of the top four.

Absolutely can not play down to Wake Forest and BC.

Oklahoma is going to destroy Baylor and Oklahoma State (two sucky teams) and Michigan is going to beat Ohio State at Ann Arbor.
After ND beats up on Wake, BC, and Stanford they will be ranked # 3 behind Clemson and Alabama.
I am guessing Oklahoma will get the # 4 spot.

I actually think Clemson may well be the weakest team in the current top four. Oh well, that's why we play the games and it would not surprise me to see UNC upset them.

Notre Dame will win this week and may drop due to strength of schedule

And why do people keep saying this? By this logic Clemson will fall out of the #1 spot. Take a look at their schedule. Two tough games, ND and F$U, outside of that NOTHING. Are they being dropped because they played Wofford and App State? Nope. Are they going to drop because they play Syracuse, Wake, and an awful South Carolina team? Probably not. Bama, if they win out and win the $ec title might jump them.

Because it is true !! Just because you keep saying the same old crap doesn't make it true either !
Notre Dame is in the playoff if they win out ! Deal with it !! Quit being ignorant!

you have a crystal ball? Tell me how ND plays in final 4 if Ohio State/Iowa, Clemson and Baylor/Ok. state win out? Take your own advice and quit being ignorant.

We have to hope for losses of 2 big 12 teams (Ok. State/Baylor) 2 Big ten teams (Iowa/Ohio State).. then we have to win out. If this scenario doesn't play out alternatively we have to hope Clemson or Alabama slip up.. If these things don't happen we will not play in final four.

No team is going to jump ND if they win out.

Well Iowa and Ohio State will play each other in the Big Ten championship game.

I know that.

So if at least one of them is undefeated it will take 1 spot
Clemson will take another spot
If a team from Big12 has no losses they take one spot
SEC champion will take one spot (as long as the champion has just 1 loss)

so in this scenario how does ND get in? It can't.

IF OkSt or Baylor win out, along with ND it will be very interesting to see what the committee does. They clearly value ND much higher than the undefeated B12 teams even with 1-loss. ND could have 4 Top 25 wins (Temple, Navy, Stanford,USC) and 1 loss against the #1. Does that resume look better than wins over TCU, OU, Baylor? Highly doubt both ND and a B12 win out.

the committee will not create a situation where Bama and tOSU (if in and undefeated) is a semi final game.
one gets Clemson and the other ?.

If ND wins out And Stanford wins Pac12 Clemson wins ACC and either Navy or Templw win the AAC. There is no way they get passed.. 2-1 vs confrence champs pkease their SoS and Win Strength would be higher

Clemson wins out and ND wins out they are in, especially if all the B12 teams have 1 loss. OSU beats Michigan handily and remains undefeated and Bama gets the other spot. The margin would be razor thin between an undefeated B12 team and ND. In fact if an undefeated B12 team gets left out, you can bet they snag up Houston and 1 other team to get a championship game.
