In between shuttling my kids around today I've been able to watch a bit of the draft. Every time I see Kizer speak I'm more and more impressed.

After watching him play I know he's a good QB. He's young and rough around the edges but you can clearly see the talent. But listening to the way he answered tough questions the last few days has been a breath of fresh air. He's smart, thoughtful and shows great character. I'll be rooting for him.

I hope to see more like him and less of the Joe Mixons

What is the difference between Ray Rice and Joe Mixon in the eyes of the NFL? I watched an ESPN interview late in the draft with Mixon and the Bengal talking point sheet was apparently passed out to the press. The point was made during the brief interview that he donates time to children. The other part of the interview was lawyer fed cliches.

What ESPN did to the next two draftees behind Mixon was disgraceful, totally ignored them. I would have to guess these two kids biggest moment of their lives was squandered by ESPN.

Difference between Ryan Rice and Mixon is age and ability. If Rice still had tread on the tire someone would have signed him. AP beats his kid and it's rarely mentioned.

Most NFL executives would rationalize signing Hitler if he could help them win

I think the problem is we have a video evidence. I don't know if we have any KC football fans on our board, but Tyreek Hill pleaded guilty to assault and strangulation of his ex girlfriend. Fans were chanting his name and cheering when he was lighting up the scoreboard becuase fans generally don't care and two there is no video. It's sad that people react differently to seeing something as opposed to simply reacting to the outcome.

Video has changed everything. I still cannot believe there was no video of the Devin Butler incident at The Linebacker Lounge last summer. Young people record everything. Great points made on this topic.

I thought they posted something.....also some recording from inside the police vehicle.

Exactly. Ray Rice incident was known by the NFL and he got a slap on the wrist - then the video surfaced. He never played football again.
