For my fellow Texans, and for those others that are interested in attending the Notre Dame/Army game in San Antonio this year, I finally found a decent ticket deal. Basically, if you buy directly from the Valero Alamo Bowl, they will sell you a Notre Dame game ticket as long as you also buy a ticket for the Valero Alamo Bowl game. Using this method, you can get a ticket as cheap as $85 total for the 2 game package ($40 for the bowl game and $45 for the Notre Dame game), which is STILL CHEAPER than paying the scalped prices that are currently available on the secondary ticket market for the Notre Dame game alone. Plus, you'll get the bowl game ticket which you can sell or give away or whatever you want to do with it, or even go to the game. Also, you can buy a $40 ticket for the Alamo Bowl but buy a much nicer Notre Dame ticket if you are particular about where you like to sit. I bought 4 of the packages for my family and we will be on the Notre Dame side in the Upper Level on the aisle on the 30 yard line, and mine were $40 each for the bowl game and $65 each for the ND game. Not a bad deal in my opinion, especially if you were considering buying scalped tickets. The guy that helped me there was named Brock and his number is 210-704-6387.
