Notre Dame added another edge player to the mix Wednesday when it received a graduate transfer commitment from Princeton's Cole Aubrey. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Aubrey will be a preferred walk-on with one season of eligibility remaining.
Aubrey played in all 10 of Princeton's game in 2022 and totaled 18 tackles, four tackles for a loss and two sacks. In 2021, he tallied 19 tackles and six sacks.
This certainly isn't a needle mover, but it's more competition for the room. I don't think he'll have a bigger impact than DT Chris Smith did last season, but we'll see.
