Due to the academic misconduct scandal

I'm not sure if anybody else posted something like this it's just something I just read on ESPN news

BK's record REALLY stinks if you take those two years out...
I guess the question I have is can ND make a case against such a harsh punishment?

Is this over reach?

As far as coach Kellys records being erased will this have an effect if the weather ND admin was wavering.f does it become the final straw

I know the record has a strong chance of being erased but not the seasons in question. Will that be enough to stay the course?

duh! recruiting is about to go down the tiolet! and recent weeks have seen no new offers go out! apparently the staff is not thinking 'long term'

Or the staff internally senses change may be coming at the end of the year. This is just my thought, but when trying to read Kelly, even as far back as several games ago, you see a very different Kelly than before. His comportment, both on the field and off, and the tenor and tone of his voice has changed. Maybe it's an over read on my part, but wouldn't be surprised if Swarbrick and Kelly have discussed the situation (remember, they both knew or sensed where the NCAA was headed with their investigation) and have prepared for a change at the end of the year. Just a thought...I know the Kelly freaks will never give up.

If I was Notre Dame I wouldn't do anything. The NCAA no longer has any power. Did North Carolina take any hits for their academic misconduct? (I honestly can't remember, but if they did it was minimal)

North Carolina's misconduct was much much more egregious.

That an excellent point.

the NCAA must view ND administration as a bunch of sissy morons to bring this hell fire upon the university when compared to other universities offenses this is a 'slap on the wrist' type situation!

The NCAA is treating ND like a 'piece of shit' school! how in the name of heaven did ND fall so fast, so deep!

Jenkins' and Swarbrick's velvet glove NCAA diplomacy.
