Narduzzi very upset at the refs,,

All they did was side with Notre Dame but they always do that,,,,
I think Narduzzi had a Sarkisian breakfast...booze on his fruit loops. Nice idea to leave Fuller in single coverage. Never seen a coach whine as much as him. Not sure he is head coach material. Guess we will find out.

No kidding. How many times did number seven have to burn their dbs in one-on-one coverage before he figured it out? Maybe the plan was to tire Fuller out by forcing him to make long runs over and over again.

Refs let both teams grab and bump, and I am good with that. Only questionable call I saw was spotting the ball on the one following Farleys interception. I thought it should have been put on the 20

Thought his call on going for two late was odd. If you get it they still need a TD and a FG. If they don't, you need two TDs. Why take the risk?

Did anyone else find whatever Pitt was doing at the end of the 3rd quarter embarrassing? Narduzzi seems like a pretty good head coach, but that was small time.

"PI and overturned catch by Ford"

Couldve been PI, I've seen that level of contact called and also let go, but I think it was clear the overturned catch was the correct call. No matter what, the game wasnt close enough to blame the refs, Pitt just isnt that good

Yep. Sure did. Somebody needed to tell them they were down by 11 and ND was driving for another TD.

It appeared as though the game was over and they had won. Dancing? How did that work out for you?

no. it was the right call. in the nfl that would have been a touchback. in college it's the location of the ball.

That was the first game I saw where the refs let them play. On many passes from both teams the receiver and D back were fighting for position and the refs let it play out. Hand checking went on and I saw no real interference. Only one time did I think it was interference. That was when Russel was covering the Pitt receiver and he wrapped his arms around and hit the face mask before the ball got there. Other than that I thought it was a hard fought game.

I respect his defenses BUT his plan for Fuller was in error. Then his decision not to use timeouts before half with BOYD???? Inexplicable--but good for ND. Guess he's learning to be a HC.

Jumping up and down by the Pitt players is yet another gimmicky exercise that is intended to motivate. It's laughable but it's their business. I think the staff will deep six this "tradition" starting in 2016.

I agree. Its so fake, and I would feel like a complete idiot jumping around like that. Reminds me of the USC walk ons a couple of years ago.

None of that crap matters once you're lined up and the whistle is blown to signal that they're ready for play.

Echo, just rewatched the game, ball possession by Farley occurred in the end zone. The ball should have been placed on the 20. When he possesses the ball, his body us twisted, legs in the air, and actual possession occurs over the goal line. Take a look.

Because it is easier to make a TD and a FG being down 10 points the to make 2 TD's down 12 points to win in the 4th quarter. You have the benefit of seeing the result then commenting on it afterword.

I agree. He was clearly in the end zone when he got control of the ball ever though his knee was at about the 1 foot line.

If he catches the ball on the 10 yard line and his momentum cause him to land on say the 8 yard line, wouldn't they place the ball at the 8?

I said when everyone was clamoring to see where Narduzi would land, that he was a chip off the old block (meaning Dantonio), both are angry, smug fellas. What's their deal? Dantonio even complained after the we're gifted the Michigan game, you'd think he'd be ecstatic.

I've watched the game again and I agree with your assessment. He was in the end zone!
