Van Gorder was the cause of all this for a little ng time because his schemes were hard to understand. The defense looks a lot better in just a few weeks under Hudson had BK made a switch a lot sooner than we would have a much better record in the last few years. Not to mention they are playing a bunch of freshmen and sophomores who do not play much. Imagine if fuller and CJ were on this offense.

ND will always have a good offense as long as BK is there and Hudson looks good as DC. Today once again the puppies screwed the pooch on special teams leading toward 14 points otherwise a much different outcome. It would be nice to get a few studs at DL but that is a broken record. I do believe ND talent wise is not that far off from what I saw today. Miami does have athletes at skilled position and we would have. Beat them by atleast 14 pts caused by youth

I wanted ND to hire Don Brown after the Stanford game, last year. Made me sick when Harbaugh hired him. That's what makes an excellent executive. You surround yourself with talent, not your buddies.

Kelly's offense sux. If you call putting some points on the board every game in every first quarter while leaving additional points in red zone -- good -- then you accept mediocrity

Kelly hired bvg. Kelly has lost our team every loss the past 2 years because of his coaching. Every one of them

The most successful head coaches (any sport) will surround themselves with the best (available) coaches they can find - that's what helps make a winner.

Kelly's insistence upon hiring his coaching cronies and recruiting RKGs (who are not good enough to overcome poor coaching) is beginning to catch up to him and expose him as a mid-level head coach (at best).

Kelly play calling especially with a lead is the biggest buzzkill I've ever seen - and no desire to impose our will on the opponent which is how you put a team on the ropes away - not by throwing the ball, jumping offsides and 3 and outs. Holtz was the master of landing the knockout punch.

the issue is simple: do you see a team that is well coached? you do not need to be a coach to know the answer to that.

so, poor recruiting, continued off season incidents, poor team management, poor game plans.. poor....
Kelly is a very poor fit at ND but Jack is the master mind of this caper!

True ND fans need to turn up the heat! Jack and his sidekick cannot be let to be comfortable destroying ND football!
